GTS Mysore - Ooty Tour Details

Day 01 : Mysore

Pickup from Mysore Railway station and transfer to Hotel. During the day visit Mysore Palace (2 hours), Mysore Zoo, St. Philomena's Church, Railway Museum, Chamundi Hills (Shaktipeetha Temple), 150 years old Jaganmohan Palace. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 02 : Mysore - Ooty(125 kms - 3.5 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Ooty (7000 ftasl) via Bandipur / Mudumalai Forest area. Enroute visit Himvad Gopalaswamy Temple and / OR Elephant Camp Theppakadu. Ooty, also known as Ootacamund, is the Queen of hill stations and the capital of Nilgiris district. It is one of the most popular tourist resorts in India. Ooty is also a land of picturesque picnic spots. This place used to be popular summer and weekend getaway for the Britishers during the colonial days. It is situated at an altitude of 2,240m above sea level. After reaching Ooty check in at Hotel. In the noon Start for sightseeing for Botanical Garden, Rose Gardenand in the evening go for boat ride on the lake. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Ooty

After breakfast proceed to enjoy full day sightseeing after breakfast you can visit 6th Mile, 7th Mile, and Pine Forest. Post lunch take a ride to Pykara Lake and falls, overnight stay in hotel.

Day 04: Ooty - Coimbatore

After Breakfast proceed to upper Coonoor, Dolphin's Nose and Lamb’s Rock viewpoint. See the scenic beauty of the tea estates. Then after lunch proceed Dodabetta, and then in evening proceed to Coimbatore Railway station.
